Since the critically acclaimed movie Apollo 13 came out, the Apollo 13 soundtrack (along with the Apollo 13 Pictures within) have been in demand. MCA's Apollo 13: Music From the Motion Picture (Apollo 13 soundtrack with Apollo 13 Pictures) showcases a mix of original compositions by Horner and songs from the Apollo Program era (1960s-1972). The Apollo 13 soundtrack also contained bits and pieces of select character's dialogue from the movie. Just a few of the artists featured in the Apollo 13 soundtrack (and Apollo 13 Pictures within) are Jimi Hendrix, Hank Williams, and James Brown.
